3 Functions of the Quality Management Branch Consulting with policy staff on standards. Quality Assurance (QA) monitoring of contractors. Quality Improvement (QI) activities to develop infrastructure.

4 Quality Assurance Monitoring Includes all Family and Community Health Services. On-site review every 2-3 years. Nurse, Nutritionist, WIC Fiscal Monitor. Determines the length of the visit.

5 Quality Improvement Activities Assist with identification of areas for improvement. Assist with resource identification. Consistent follow-up to reinforce progress.
