2. My Objectives  I can describe the characteristics of an insect using adjectives.  I can distinguish between insects and spiders using a Venn diagram.  I understand how they interact with each other and their environment

4. KWL  We are going to fill out a KWL chart. This chart will show you what you Know, what you Want to know, and what you Learned about insects.  Remember to raise your hand to participate.

5. Activity  We are going to work in groups of three to five students.  When working in your group you must be respectful and listen to each other.  I will model what you will do in you group.  I need three volunteers to be in my group.  You will have a bag. Each person will describe the pieces received. Once everyone has had a chance to share you will work with your group to sort them.  Now watch me.
