5 What is Multimedia What is Multimedia? The use of multimedia will help students connect to and find meaning in the content, and relate their learning to the world beyond the classroom. Multimedia components include: printable text photographs illustrations animations videos audio web links interactive study guides and quizzes

6 Multimedia The role of the instructor is to engage, challenge, and retain students as learners in support of their academic goals. Today’s “digital generation” is technologically sophisticated and uses multimedia for a variety of educational and entertainment purposes.
