4 4 Program Objectives Protect human health and the environment Maintain LBP in a good condition and minimize the generation of lead-contaminated dust and debris by controlling activities that disturb LBP Minimize lead exposure for building occupants, maintenance/ custodial workers and the public Establish procedures for controlling and containing lead-contaminated dust and debris Establish administrative procedures and work practices to achieve the objectives of the program Monitor the condition of LBP through periodic visual surveillance
