3. Performance of the TRICS website server The TRICS website server has performed extremely well over the past year (12 months to the 1 st of June 2015). Over the course of a year it has been down for a total of 9 hours and 55 minutes.

4. Performance of the TRICS online server The TRICS online server has also performed extremely well over the past year (12 months to the 1 st of June 2015). Over the course of a year it has been down for a total of 2 hours and 10 minutes.

5. Growth in TRICS Membership 1989- 2015 Ever since TRICS was launched in 1989 the number of member organisations has been growing. There are now 329 organisations across the UK and Ireland using TRICS (green bar). Note the effect of the recent recession and the recovery in terms of TRICS member organisations.

6. Number of TRICS logins over time This graph shows the number of TRICS member logins over the last three and a half years. The trend has been a general increase since January 2015 with seasonal peaks and troughs. The peak during this period was 4,807 logins during the month of November 2014.

7. Trip rate calculations over time This graph shows the number of trip rate calculations undertaken by each of the “main 7” land use types. There has been substantial overall growth in trip rate calculations over the last couple of years. The Residential main category has shown the biggest growth and is the most popular.

8. Some quick statistics  In the year 1 st June 2014 to 31 st May 2015 there were a total of 46,429 TRICS user logins.  The peak time of the day for use of TRICS throughout the same period was 1400-1500. there were 5,893 logins at that time of the day.  The TRICS Good Practice Guide was accessed 2,440 times over the past year.  There were 19,381 Residential trip rate calculations carried out over the past year.  There were a total of 111,496 trip rate calculations carried out across all land use categories over the same period.

9. Summary  The TRICS servers have been performing exceptionally well over the last year.  Membership as at June 2015 has hit its highest level since TRICS was launched in 1989.  The overall number of system logins has shown a steady growth over the past 3.5 years.  The number of trip rate calculations undertaken has grown substantially over the past 3 years, especially for the Residential main land use category.  TRICS has seen significant growth overall as the recession has ended, and is in a good position in 2015.
