Choosing your career For teens reality sets in….choosing time! Questions asked Try out adult roles You can no longer lack confidence! Plan your future!!!
Planning your future There are some steps that you can take to help you plan. In groups you will be given cards and a worksheet that will ask you to put the steps in order. You will then complete the worksheet with it as a group. Each person should take turns recording. Initial what you record.
Developing a Career Plan 1. List interests, abilities, job skills, achievements, and values 2. Establish short- and long-term goals 3. Locate occupational information 4. Identify broad career areas related to your interests, talents, and values
