3 SSACI Unacceptable PJ reasons DEPENDENCY Marriage, Separation, or Divorce after the FAFSA is filed Marriage, Separation, or Divorce after the FAFSA is filed An increase in the number of dependents or an increase in family members after the filing of the FAFSA (including children born after filing the FAFSA) An increase in the number of dependents or an increase in family members after the filing of the FAFSA (including children born after filing the FAFSA) PC/EFC ADJUSTMENT Changes or loss of employment during the base (previous) or current year Increases or decreases in income after the FAFSA is filed Windfall income
