3.  One of Peru‘s many animals is the lama.  Peru animals range from Pacific fish to piranha in the amazon  The Andean Cat is one of Peru’s endangered animals. It is found in the high regions of Peru. Its food is a different variety of mice along with the Pampas Cat.  The Yellow Tailed Wooly Monkey is also another endangered animal

5.  The music of Peru is an amalgamation of sounds and styles drawing on Peru’s Andean, Spanish, and African roots.  Andean influences can be best heard in wind instruments and in the shape of melodies  Pre-Columbian Andean was played on drums and wind instruments

6.  The Peru flag has two different colors – red and white.  The red is for all the blood shed for Peru’s freedom from Spain  The white is for justice and peace  The tree and the llama are important symbols to Peru  The cornucopia represents prosperity

7.  the European influenced Peru and has passed through various types to European Romanticism after independence of cultures.  the early 20 th century brought “indigesmo” expressed in a new awareness of a new Indian culture
