3 Bias ˈ bīəs/ noun 1.prejudice IN FAVOR OF OR AGAINST one thing, person, or group compared with another, usually in a way considered to be UNFAIR.

4 How does bias affect us? The media needs to be analyzed and questioned so we know what is true.

14 How do we know what is true? There are many RED FLAGS that help indicate a biased source.

15 1. Are they using an ABUNDANCE OF EXTREME WORDS to influence your emotions rather than logic?

16 2. Are there OMITTED FACTS that would FAVOR ONE SIDE or the other?

17 3. Is the INFORMATION is either OVERSIMPLIFIED OR EXAGGERATED for a more extreme reaction?
