3 Baltimore Workforce Investment Board Appointed by Mayor Martin O’Malley in September 2000 as part of the federal Workforce Investment Act (WIA) adopted by Maryland in July 2000 Currently consists of 44 members from Baltimore’s business, education, human service, economic and workforce development communities BWIB Chair Ronald R.
