10 The effectiveness of their advertising strategies Starting at $2999 Apple sold out and was on back order the day they went on the market. That seems to be a consistent strategy in the Apple marketing plan with all their products. They build a lot of enthusiasm prior to the release, insuring high sales. They are a strong company with many loyal followers. It would be hard to deny the incredible innovation and unique design of this product.
