4 4 Regalia A tough one A tough one –How to estimate in advance the number and size of t- shirts, golf shirts, hats, or other stuff you will be able to sell –Depends on the size and prestige of the event –Don’t agonize over sizes. Just get large and X-large? Try and find a competent designer –Better to sell out than have dozens left over –Sell at cost. Don’t try to make money on the stuff –Try and have fleet select suppliers to get bigger orders and better prices

5 5 Meet and Greet One of the best bangs for the bucks. One of the best bangs for the bucks. –Make sure the volunteers are recognizable –Get them on-site early for arrival and departure –Make sure they know how to run the cranes if keelboats are expected –Ensure they liaise with club manager for trailer space, car parking, rules with respect to free beer on arrival –Have some tools and access to spare bits and pieces available
