Americans have seen technology play a vital role in the speed in which pop culture transcends location and class; however, the key factor in pop culture that typically goes unnoticed is the role of nostalgia. Why is nostalgia an effective force to perpetuate pop culture obsession?

6 Best Reflection: Destiny “Salvation” is ambiguous because in the beginning Langston goes to church to see Jesus and become saved, but he ends up leaving with no belief in Jesus. It is thought provoking because it makes you think about how this young boy doesn’t need religion to live his life. He can find salvation in himself rather than in Jesus.
