1 Prom Dress Code Some dresses are appropriate for some, and not appropriate for others because of body type, so it is best to not assume if a dress is okay for one person, that it is okay for another. Students that arrive at Prom with an inappropriate dress will be asked to make an adjustment (pin the dress, etc). If an adjustment is not made, the student will be asked to leave prom without reimbursement.

2 When In Doubt These guidelines are not all-inclusive; the absence of any particular form or mode of dress does not mean the dress is appropriate. If in doubt, select another dress, or…have your dress pre-approved: Take a picture of YOU wearing the dress, both the front and the back. 3 Too Short Not be shorter than 3” above top of kneecap; length of a credit card long ways

4 Front Too Low Not be low-cut in front or back

5 Back Too Low Cut Not be low-cut in front or back, shouldn’t see undergarmets

6 Showing Midriff Vs. Not Not show the midriff area

7 Strapless Must fit properly at all times

8 See-through material Covering mid-riff, must have nude material underneath inserted

9 See-through material Covering Legs

10 Cuts or slits Potentially revealing inappropriate areas

13 2 Options: Send Mrs. Graf a picture of your dress FRONT & BACK to get approval Sign the dress- code agreement when you purchase your tickets Better option… You only need to do one or the other to be able to purchase your tickets
