Joanna Krogstad on Change 1. What has been a major change in your life? Realizing that at 43 we would be adopting our 2 year old foster child. Our oldest daughter getting married this summer. 2. How does change make you feel? It really depends upon the type of change. I like a new challenge but if I don’t think it is beneficial I would feel pressured and probably very frustrated. 3. How does change affect you as a teacher? Again, it depends upon the type of change. Sometimes it just feels like one more hoop you have to jump other times it feels energizing!

Another Member on Change 1.What has been a major change in your life? The recent diagnosis of my mother-in-law with bone cancer and her doctor's prediction that she may have only two years with her family. Makes one realize what is important and how short life can be. 2.How does change make you feel? Excited about new challenges and new opportunities. 3.How does change affect you as a teacher? I teach high school, how does one not thrive in that chaos! Each day is a new day and a new opportunity.
