10 The ONLINE yearbook sales deadline has been extended to March 20! Please go to www.jostens.com to pre-order your yearbook.

11 Applications for Maroon & Grey Yearbook Staff and Arrowhead Newspaper Staff should be turned in to Mrs. Good in room 273 no later than March 11! Applications can be found in the 2015-16 course catalog. Both classes will be offered during Block C next year - see Mrs. Good in room W-273 with any questions.

12 Senior cap and gown picture proofs will be available in the cafeteria during all four lunches this week.

13 Introducing… A New Food Program @ D-B ! There are 4 coolers located in the front of the cafeteria. Please put any unopened food/drink in the coolers. This can be used for students who may need extra for lunch. At the end of the week, we will see how much we have and make a donation to an organization that can use the food and drink.

14 All FBLA State paperwork and initial payment are due to Mrs. Arbaugh by Thursday, March 5 th at 3:00! You will not be registered to compete if you do not meet the deadline!! FBLA State paperwork extension!!

15 There will be an informational meeting for parents/students TODAY (March 3) @ 5:30pm, in the Little Theatre for any student interested in trying out for the Spirit Shaker dance team. Try-out practices will be conducted in the dome from 5:30-7:30 on March 16, 17, and 18. Tryouts will be during the same time on Thursday, 3/19.

22 Come by or contact the D-B Counseling office for an appointment. Seniors and Parents Need help with the FAFSA, ACT registration, or final college applications? Seniors and parents can sign up for an individual appointment for this service available at D-B on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

23 S.H.O.U.T. (Students Helping Others Understand Tomorrow) applications are available in the Counseling Office. Applications must be submitted to the Kingsport Chamber of Commerce by March 20 th.

25 All three levels of Winter Guard (Varsity, JV and Prep) will be competing at Sullivan South on Saturday, March 7, from 4:30 - 8:00pm. Admission is general $8.00. 41 Athnet Sports Recruiting Scholarship Award: $1,000 Eligibility: Current or former athlete at the high school or college level and must be a current college student or high school senior entering college. How to Enter: Write a 400-500 word essay describing how the lessons learned through playing sports have positively impacted you as you pursue your college education.
