47. Prerequisite Clearing and You
The Registrar’s system will not automatically recognize when prerequisites have been completed outside of the University. This means that you will need to receive clearance for many courses before being able to enroll.
Our office has developed on on-line prerequisite clearing form that can be accessed 24/7.
Before your enrollment window opens, look up the prereqs for the courses you wish to enroll in. If you finished any of the prereqs outside of UCI, turn in a request for the courses.
DO NOT put in requests for courses you do not need clearance for. It creates extra work for us and slows us down.
