2 (1) Overview Previous Week and Current Week: –Questions from previous weeks. ( 上周遗留问题 ) –Optimization algorithm update. ( 优化更新 ) –SEAS paper accepted. ( 文章录用 ) Next Week: –Use the algorithm to generate a schedule. ( 算法生成调度 ) –Train the neural network with the additional 18 scenarios. ( 加入 19 个新的情境并重新训练神经网络 )

3 (2) Previous week questions Paper submission ( 论文提交 ) – 7/30 截止 Have resolved the normalization problem – We implemented this method and every time there is a change in the delay, the KPI changes and as the generations go on it converges (normalized to its maximum). 归一化问题已解决 Bridge between user panel to MATLAB – 介面跟 MATLAB 之间的连接

4 (3) Optimization (SEAS) Update: – The algorithm now uses the database instead of the given scenario by SEAS. ( 算法使用数据库生成排程 ) – The algorithm is able to schedule steps on multiple machines if possible. ( 算法能够安排多台机器情况 ) – If a particular machine is unavailable during certain days it can be specified and the algorithm will schedule around it. ( 可输入设备到位情况 )

5 Inputs: – Work Order – Sub Work Order – Machine Unavailability (Optional) Currently, the number of sub work orders for each work order is fixed according to the scenarios provided by SEAS. The algorithm creates a schedule that performs all the sub work orders for the specified work order. Ex. if work orders 7, 8, and 9 are specified then a schedule is created for sub work orders 701-705, 801-805,901-905. Therefore the schedule that is created by the algorithm might be longer than a month.

6 Current tasks The objective for the following week is to only schedule enough steps for a month. ( 下礼拜的目 标生成一个月的排成 ) The inputs have to be changed by changing a line in the code. SEAS is finalizing the user panel in VBA. Once completed, we will try and link their panel to our code. ( 介面跟 MATLAB 之间的连接 ) The last step includes creating an input sheet using MATLAB for the prediction of the algorithm. Refer to excel file for examples
