A national framework provides a guide to the strategies and initiatives that are needed to address a particular topic, in this case ending homelessness. It sets out the key evidence base, involves the key players, and provides a reference point for more detailed plans and initiatives. It is a high level document at the population and cohort levels. It looks at the structural causes of homelessness how to bring solutions to those causes together in a cohesive and strategic manner. -The Road Home; -National Framework to end domestic violence (ANROWS);

The framework will drive a renewed coordinated national initiative to end homelessness in Australia. It will be used as a tool to reengage communities, governments, civil society, and business across Australia in ending homelessness. It provides an evidence and policy basis for the work that Homelessness Australia and our colleagues will be doing over the coming years to end homelessness.
