10. Coastal Zone Management PA’s CZM Program is funded by: –Federal Office of Ocean and Coastal Resource Management (OCRM) –National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) –U.S. Department of Commerce

11. Coastal Zone Management PA has two coastal areas The 57-mile stretch of coastline along the Delaware Estuary The 63-mile Lake Erie coastline

12. Coastal Zone Management FUNDING LIMITATIONS $50,000 grant limit per project. 50% Local match required Funds contributed by another federal grant program may NOT be applied as local match.

13. Coastal Zone Management Coastal Hazard Areas Dredging and Spoil Disposal Fisheries Management Wetlands Public Access for Recreation Historic Sites and Structures, Port Activities, Energy Facilities Siting, Intergovernmental Coordination, Public Involvement

14. Coastal Zone Management Eligible Recipients: State agencies, local governments, regional agencies and registered and pre-approved non-profit organizations. Application Deadline: April 1, 2002.
