9 Title of the presentation, Speaker, 14.02.2011 Key messages need for initial high level political support importance of awareness and understanding of SUMP strong barriers but many sucess stories: –many old school projects still active but with more discussion and improvements, –new ST projects e.g. reduced parking standards, pedestrianisation and parking control, public bike scheme.., –more Slovenian cities want SUMP, –national government is more active.
