2 Warm Up Do you have a book to read after the vocab test?  If you are not done with your Cause and Effect Paragraph please take the next 10minutes to finish that and turn it into your block’s tray  When you finish you should be writing sentences for vocab words 11-15 and preparing for the vocabulary summative

3 Vocabulary Summative  IMPORTANT REMINDERS:  Put your name on your answer sheet  DO NOT write on the story  Use complete sentences  Each word is only used ONCE  Only ONE word per question  Cross off the word in the word bank once you have used it  Please turn your answers into your block’s tray and stack the stories in front of the tray  Read silently until everyone is finished

5 Reminders  Have your research notes out on your desk  Be listening to what others are saying so that you can respond in an intelligent way  Do not just make random statements then sit back and listen  You MUST speak at least 2-3 times  Remember if I can’t hear you I can’t grade you

What surprising statistics did you find in your research? 3. Do you feel as though the realistic suggestion to fix the problem that you came up with could actually work?
