3 My exchange period Spring of 2013, 3 months. 2 cities, 2 universities. – 9 weeks in university of Ensenada (CETYS) – 3 weeks in university of Monterrey (UDEM) 4 courses, 20 credits. – International Marketing, Analysis of International Markets, Transcultural Behavior, Business Communication and Doing Business in Mexico. Company visits. Part-time internship for a Finnish company. Jussi Vainio3

4 City of Ensenada, Baja California Research & Manufacturing (Maquiladoras) Tourism Maritime industry Agriculture Mining Jussi Vainio4 Maquiladora = a manufacturing operation in a free trade zone, where factories import material and equipment on a duty-free and tariff-free basis for assembly, processing, or manufacturing and then export the products, sometimes back to the raw materials' country of origin.
