PSD 2009 40 modules 20 small (X xY – 10x10 cm 2 ) +20 large (X xY – 20x20 cm2) Assembling of 11 small modules: - All components are constructed and available for 11 modules- mechanics, lead plates, fibers, optical connectors, APDs …..excluding scintillation plates (720 plates) – delay due to supplier problems. Now promised delivery time is February-March. - 11 modules should be assembled at INR up to summer. - Resources are available. Electronics : Test of electronics prototypes v1. is ongoing and expected to be finished in February. New electronics v2 (final) at least for one module should be constructed again taking into account new modifications. Then, new tests in Moscow and CERN. This work should be finished until May. DAQ: DAQ with using PCI card is going on successfully at INR NA61 DAQ for PSD ??? – need urgently discussions with Budapest group. Estimation cost to have 20 small modules for 2009 beam test is about 85 000 CHF + visits and travel money for INR group (about 30 000 CHF)
