4 4-Oct-15 R ELEVANCE OF WHS IN COUNTER TRAFFICKING MEASURES Women in the sex industry come for medical services at some point Information on range of experiences by all women irrespective of entry into sex industry, trafficked, controlled and pimped or not, national and non national Access to women who often have no contact with other services VOT can take time to disclose information so offering support and building trust crucially important Operating non-judgemental open service, no pressure May have agreed to work in prostitution but then become VOT, time to pick up on exploitation 4
