17 17 FP6 Projects on TeLearn KALEIDOSCOPE will support the creation of a comprehensive and strong European Research Area for TeLearn with a world wide perspective PROLEARN focuses on technology-enhanced learning resources and their use for professional training in SME's and larger companies, thus bridging the gap between university research and education and professional training and continuous education. ELEGI Harnessing GRIDs for learning: Development and evaluation of Grid services that support virtual communities of learners, both in formal and in informal contexts, by facilitating knowledge construction through individual experience and collaboration between learners iClass: a distributed collaborative learning environment, founded on an ontology-based architecture for sequencing of knowledge and adaptive to learner's level of understanding and learning style by dynamically creating individualized learning objects LeActiveMath Learning mathematics interactively: Development and evaluation of a mathematics tutoring system that adapts itself to individual learners' needs and features advanced personalization and intelligent feedback CONNECT development of a learning environment, the virtual science thematic park, using advanced ICT (augmented reality, wireless communications) to connect informal learning strategies and formal curricular activities in science education TELCERT Interoperable e-learning content. Development and evaluation of strategies and tools for testing standards compliance of e- learning content, taking into account user- community Application Profiles UNFOLD understanding new framework of learning design. It supports the adoption, implementation, use and further development of open standards for learning systems in Europe
