1 TRUSTING GOD AT ALL TIMES
It is so important that we trust God at all times God knows what is best for us God loves us more that any other person ever could God is both willing and able to help us at all times

2 Continually trusting the Lord is the key to fulfilling God’s destiny for our life
King David wrote, “Trust in the Lord, and do good; Dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness. Delight yourself also in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord, Trust also in Him, And He shall bring it to pass.” (Psalm 37:3-5)

3 When we continually put the Lord first in our life we can be assured that all that we need in life shall be added to us Jesus Himself said, “Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ Or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” (Matthew 6:31-33)

4 In this teaching we will be looking at the life of Daniel who had a great trust in God
Daniel had an excellent spirit and loved God He was the author of the book of Daniel in the bible Daniel was committed to honouring God with his life. He refused to compromise when put to the test Because of his integrity, Darius the king gave thought to setting Daniel over the whole realm The other Satraps and 2 governors then sought to find some charge against Daniel to pull him down But they could find no charge or fault because he was so faithful

5 The governors and satraps could find no fault with Daniel because he was faithful in all that he did
Every day Daniel prayed faithfully to God in his upper room.

6 BECAUSE DANIEL WAS FAITHFUL IN ALL THINGS, THE GOVERNORS AND SATRAPS PLOTTED TO REMOVE DANIEL BY GETTING THE KING TO MAKE A DECREE THAT WOULD MAKE IT UNLAWFUL FOR DANIEL TO PRAY TO GOD FOR THIRTY DAYS “Then these men said, “We shall not find any charge against this Daniel unless we find it against him concerning the law of his God.” So these governors and satraps thronged before the king, and said thus to him: “King Darius, live forever!” “All the governors of the kingdom, the administrators and satraps, the counsellors and advisors have consulted together to establish a royal statute and to make a firm decree, that whoever petitions any god or man for thirty days, except you, O king, shall be cast into the den of lions.” The satraps and governors only wanted to see Daniel removed because of God’s favour upon his life KING DARIUS THEN ESTABLISHED THIS DECREE AND SIGNED IT

7 Even though Daniel knew of this decree he refused to stop praying to God – His trust was always in God – He loved God and did not fear man “Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went home. And in his upper room, with his windows open toward Jerusalem, he knelt down on his knees three times that day, and prayed and gave thanks before his God, as was his custom since early days.” (Daniel 6:10)

8 As Christians we can be assured that nothing can ever happen to us apart from the will of our Father in heaven Jesus Himself said, “Are not two sparrows sold for a copper coin? And not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father’s will.” (Matthew 10:29) “Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows.” (Matthew 10:31)

9 The satraps and governors told King Darius of what Daniel had done in still praying to his God
Reluctantly King Darius, because of the decree that he had made, had Daniel put into the lions den

10 But God protected Daniel from those hungry lions
When King Darius awoke in the morning he went in haste to the lions den and cried out, “... Daniel, servant of the living God, has your God, whom you serve continually, been able to deliver you from the lions?” (Daniel 6:20) “Then Daniel said to the king, “O king, live forever!” (Daniel 6:21

11 “My God sent His angel and shut the lion’s mouths, so that they have not hurt me, because I was found innocent before Him; and also, O King, I have done no wrong before you.” (Daniel 6:22) “Now the king was exceedingly glad for him, and commanded that they should take Daniel up out of the den. So Daniel was taken up out of the den, and no injury whatever was found on him, because he believed in his God.” (Daniel 6:23)

12 GOD IS ABSOLUTELY FAITHFUL – We can depend on Him
SO IN CONCLUSION WE HAVE A GOD WHO LOVES US WITH A PASSION AND WHO IS BOTH WILLING AND ABLE TO DELIVER US OUT OF ALL THE TRIALS AND CHALLENGES THAT WE WILL ALL AT TIMES EXPERIENCE IN LIFE GOD IS ABSOLUTELY FAITHFUL – We can depend on Him FOR THIS REASON, May I encourage you, that like Daniel, that you always stand up for the Lord in every circumstance as He has the best plan for each of our lives and our best interests at heart – God knows what is best for our life – We must never allow fear of man OR fear of failure to stop us from fully embracing all that God has planned for our life

13 As we continually live for the Lord, God will raise us up to do great things for His glory, “exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.” (Ephesians 3:20) Just believe that with God’s help and guidance that your life can make a great difference in this world for eternity
