The project OIO-study Draft scheme of elements Title Creator Subject Description Publisher Date (creation) Date (modified) Type Format Identifier Source Language Relations Relations.HasPart Relations. IsRequiredBy Coverage Rights ---Local - In discussion Public (Yes/No) Harvesting (Yes/No) Process (Scheme: e.g. Received, Draft Final Terminated )

The project OIO-study What is produced A central server for input-data (metadata) A possibility for embedding metadata – metadata- generator - on web-pages – and a harvester A metadata-based search engine A deep-linking facility The above is all finished during the summer. And public information providers will be contacted from august.

The link-service application The purpose of the project is to facilitate deep- linking between public web-pages with similar content The purpose is thereby to provide a more relevant information link on selected web-pages Especially for use where the citizens have a need for comparing similar services by different public institutions (e.g. waiting lists at different hospitals)

The deep-linking It works by metadata The deep-linking will work with 3 Dublin Core elements: Creator Subject Identifier (URL) And the category list/classification scheme

The project OIO-study Closing remarks Joining forces in e.g. the Danish public sector requires standardization Joining forces in e.g. EU public sector requires standardization Regarding interoperability it is essential that the national and the international standards are the same
