2. Welcome to St. Peter! We thank you for joining us for worship this Fifth Sunday after our Lord’s Pentecost. When you think about missions and missionaries, what comes to mind? Perhaps you think about foreign lands that are half way around the world. Like charity, mission work begins at home. We are Christ’s ambassadors as we share the gospel with those who are lost and who are living right here in our country. The harvest is plentiful, so let’s get to work and lift high Jesus’ cross because it’s the key to eternal life for all!
