Blessings In Christ Fellowship in the Son
2
Introduction God has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in Christ (Ephesians 1:3-14). Jesus is the Alpha and the Omega, i.e., every good thing – from A to Z – is found in Him (Revelation 1:8; 22:13).
3
Blessings Found In Christ Freedom (Rom. 8:1-2; Gal. 2:4) Glory (Phil. 4:19; 1 Pet. 5:10) Grace (1 Cor. 1:4; 2 Tim. 1:9) Life (Rom. 6:23; 2 Tim. 1:1) Love (Rom. 8:39; 1 Tim. 1:14) Newness (Rom. 6:4; 2 Cor. 5:17) Peace (Phil. 4:7; 1 Pet. 5:14) Promises (Gal. 3:14; Eph. 3:6) Purpose (Eph. 1:9; 3:11) Reconciliation (2 Cor. 5:19; Eph. 2:13-15) Redemption (Rom. 3:24; Eph. 1:7) Salvation (2 Tim. 2:10; 3:14-15) Sanctification (1 Cor. 1:2, 30) Victory (1 Cor. 15:54-57; 2 Cor. 2:14)

Relationships Found in Christ Biblical fellowship involves a shared relationship with the Godhead: ◦ God the Father (1 John 1:3, 6-7) ◦ Christ the Son (1 Cor. 1:9; Heb. 3:14) ◦ The Holy Spirit (2 Cor. 13:14; Phil. 2:1) Believers also enjoy fellowship with one another, collectively experiencing: ◦ Spiritual blessings (Rom. 11:17). ◦ Shared faith (Phile. 6, 17). ◦ Privileges and persecution (Rev. 1:9).
5
Responsibilities Found In Christ We must die to sin and live to God (Romans 6:3-4, 8-11). We must manifest a Christ-like spirit (Phil. 2:1-8; Rom. 15:1-3). We must edify and build up one another (2 Cor. 12:19; Col. 1:28). We must faithfully adhere to the pattern (1 Cor. 4:17; 2 Tim. 1:13-14). We must be active and energetic in his service (Eph. 2:10; Gal. 5:6). We must strive for maturity (Col. 2:5; 2 Tim. 2:1).

Conclusion Salvation is found exclusively in Jesus Christ (John 14:6; Acts 4:8-12). How does one establish a relationship with Christ Jesus? ◦ We must hear the word of God (John 6:44-45; Rom. 10:17). ◦ We must believe in Christ Jesus (John 3:16; 8:24). ◦ We must repent of our sins (Luke 13:2-3; Acts 3:19- 21). ◦ We must confess Christ before men (Matt. 10:32-33; Rom. 10:9-10). ◦ We must be baptized “into” Christ for the remission of sins (Rom. 6:3-6; Gal. 3:26-27; Acts 2:36-47).
