7 Scientific Secretariat of the Working Party on Information on Lifestyle and Specific Subpopulations Research Association Public Health Medical Faculty Carl Gustav Carus Technische Universität Dresden, Germany Phone: Fax: Internet: Chairman: Prof. Dr. Dr. Wilhelm Kirch Fiedlerstrasse 33 D Dresden WP Meeting 14 May 08 Volume 2 – Results 2 physical activity data available for children aged 5-9 country comparison within Europe: four groups of countries emerged with different potential data resources –group 1 = data collected for nearly all the indicators and all the age groups (Germany, France and the United Kingdom) –group 2 = data collected for every age group, but not for every nutrition and physical activity indicator (Belgium, Bulgaria, Italy, Macedonia, the Netherlands, Romania and Spain) –group 3 = data collected on nutrition and physical activity, but not for all age groups or for all indicators (Austria, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Norway, Slovakia, and Sweden) –group 4 = lack of data (or a lack of data availability). (Cyprus, Greece and Turkey)
