6 Methods and Procedures Each unit employs various methods and procedures to assess and collect data on student learning. In the Academic Assessment Plan, methods and procedures are evaluated on the following criteria. NEW: SLO Assessment Matrix

7 Due dates and What’s next 2012-13 Undergraduate Assessment Plans are due March 15, 2013 We will review these using the rubric provided in the template When needed, we will contact the person who oversees the assessment process with questions

8 Submission Instructions for 2012-13 Plans must be screened first for any curriculum and degree requirement changes. Curriculum and degree requirement changes must go through the standard UF approval process.

9 Submission Instructions for 2012-13 Once the plan is ready, it must be uploaded to the approvals website at http://approval.ufl.edu > Undergraduate > Academic Learning Compact/Academic Assessment Plan. Please note:http://approval.ufl.edu 1. Before the plan is submitted, it must be screened at the College level for curriculum/degree requirement changes. Approval of these types of changes must follow established UF approval procedures. 2. If there are changes to any part of the 2012-13 template, you must submit the SLO/Academic Assessment Plan Change Form with your 2012-13 AAP. 3. If there are no changes to your 2012-13 template, submit your 2012-13 AAP without a form. In the submission description box on the approvals site, enter “No changes from the 2012-13 template.”
