2 Methodology  Second Annual Survey of all community affiliates in the CCD (1142)  191 bounceback’s removed (951 good emails)  140 respondents = 15% (down from 29% in 2011)  Send via email utilizing the Opinio survey platform

3 Survey questions  22 questions (total)  2 demographic questions  11 Likert scale questions  4 follow up questions  5 open-ended questions

4 With which NSU program(s) do you collaborate?  Largest percentage – Osteopathic Medicine and Psychology  Smallest percentage – GSCIS, OHR, OIIT, IA, SEC’s  Length of time in collaborative opportunity with NSU – 66% (>5 yrs); 23% (2-4 yrs); 11% (0-1 year)

9 If dissatisfied with responsiveness…  “You do not listen”  “Slow to respond”  “Staff were supposed to come for a site visit and they never came”

10 If you disagreed with quality work….  “Some of the students believe that because it cost more for tuition, they are entitled to less stringent academic policies”  “I have had some concerns about the ethical practices”

11 If you disagreed that we collaborate well….  “I don’t know if we understand all of the options for collaboration or how to reach out to NSU programs we have not partnered with”  “We have little opportunity to get to know others outside our own school so it’s more difficult to be aware of what collaborative opportunities may exist”

12 If you disagreed with open communication….  “I have had a couple of experiences when the dept heads or office of the president have agreed to something and the staff will ignore the agreement until I get the leadership involved again. It is uncomfortable sometimes but I greatly appreciate the support of NSU’s overall leadership”

15 Some suggestions  “I would be interested in a collaborative clinical study with NSU….please advise whom I should contact”  “It would be interesting to see an open house of all of these partners. Possibly in a poster session and see local organizations get a chance to meet with all of these amazing programs”  “Would like to see the practicum professors have site visits with their students at least once a year ”
