Prepare correspondence for supervisors & managers about responsibilities; contract with security; establish a communication center; create plan to ensure safety of those coming to work – back entrance; work with vendors/supplies & customers about transit changes – find off-site location, delay shipments; contract with employment agency for replacement workers; prepare reports of payroll owed; contact neighboring companies to let them know; look for potential concessions to end strike

Explain the process the organization needs to take to conduct the investigation. Plan the investigation to occur shortly; contact counsel to ensure it is handled appropriately; select internal investigation unconnected with the alleged offender; receive formal written complaint; develop confidentiality agreements for interviews; conduct interviews with complainant, alleged offender, & witnesses; ensure entire process is documented; review personnel files for patterns of behavior; determine decision and disciplinary action (if necessary); announce decision to alleged offender and complainant; establish follow-up
