1. DO YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE? 1 John 3:1-3

2. 1JOHN 3:1-3 3 See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him. 2 Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when Christ appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is. 3 All who have this hope in him purify themselves, just as he is pure.

5. I. DO YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE? See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! (v1) 2 Dear friends, now we are children of God, (v2) “that we should be called children of God!”

7. “He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him. 12 Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God (John 1:11-12). DO YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE?

8. But now, this is what the LORD says— he who created you, Jacob, he who formed you, Israel: “Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine” (Isaiah 43:1). DO YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE?

9. “And that is what we are!” (v1) DO YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE?

10. “Dear friends, now we are children of God” (v2) DO YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE?

11. “See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are!.... 2 Dear friends, now we are children of God, “ DO YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE?

12. “13 For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, 14 in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins” (Colossians 1:13-14).

13. I. DO YOU KNOW WHO YOU WILL BE?

15. A. WE KNOW THAT JESUS IS COMING BACK AGAIN “But we know that when Christ appears….” DO YOU KNOW WHO YOU WILL BE?

16. “16 …Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. 18 Therefore encourage one another with these words (1 Thessalonians 4). DO YOU KNOW WHO YOU WILL BE?
