2. Introduction about our City Our city is Livadeia. Is a city in central Greece. It is the capital of the prefecture Boeotia. Livadeia is located 130 km NW of Athens It has 30.000 inhabitants.

3. Fortress of Livadeia The construction of the castle was begun in the 13th century but most of what is now seen dates from the Catalan occupation of the city, lasting from 1309 until 1380. In 1458 it was captured by the Turks and remained under their control until the liberation of Levadeia. The castle lies on the naturally fortified hill of Aghios Elias, overlooking the modern town of Levadeia. The long curtain wall runs steeply down, ending at a substantial tower to the east. It is built of rubble stones and only the gateways are built of finely cut ashlar blocks.A small church inside the castle was much later built on the site of an ancient temple of Zeus.

4. Our School Our school has 310 students from 13-15 years old. It is a junior high school and is located on a hill close to national stadium with a panoramic view to mountain Parnassos. view to mountain Parnassos.

5. Our Class Our athletic class is focused on sports and we train 3 times a week for 2 hours prior to classes in order to get fit and continue in a professional team. We are 10 students in the class and 3 of us are involved in the project.
