Instituto de Educación Secundaria Marqués de Suanzes Instituto de Educación Secundaria Marqués de Suanzes Comunidad de Madrid Our center is located in San Blas neighborhood of Madrid, in a residential environment near to the commercial district and of services of the Street Alcala and behind a singular green space, La Quinta de Los Molinos. EDUCATIONS THAT ARE GIVEN * The IES " Marques of Suanzes " has got 576 students distributed in 21 groups and 56 teachers. * There are offered both cycles of Secondary Obligatory Education. There is a bilingual section in collaboration with the French Republic. * In addition to this, "Bachillerato" is also offered in the modalities of: Health Sciences and Social Sciences. DEAN PROJECT

HOW DO YOU DIGITALIZE? ELEMENTS: - Computer. - Scanner. - Book. - Pen-drive. - OCR program. STEPS: 1- Install the OmniPage program on your computer. 2- Create in pen-drive two folders named "text uncorrected" and "text corrected." 3- Scan pages with OmniPage. 4- Save the scanned pages in the "correct text." 5- Correct the pages scanned with OmniPage. 6- Save the corrected pages in "corrected text." 7- Edit the book.
HOW DO YOU SCAN? ELEMENTS: - Book. - Scanner. -Computer. STEPS: 1- Install the scanner on the computer. 2- Put the page of the book on the scanner. 3- Scan the page in gray scale. 4- Recognize the image in the OCR. 5- Save the image in a folder within the Pen-drive.
HOW DO YOU EDIT? STEPS: 1- Open the document you want to edit 2- Create a table of 1x1 (Front and back). 3- Select the image and click "copy." 4- In the table click "paste" (image).
WHAT IS THE OCR? OCR (optical character recognition) is the recognition of printed or written text characters by a computer. This involves photo scanning of the text character-by-character, analysis of the scanned-in image, and then translation of the character image into character codes, such as ASCII, commonly used in data processing.
HOW MAKE A REPORT OF MEETING? STEPS: 1-Write in a Word document first, not directly in the mail, because if any problems do not lose information. 2- After writing in Word, enter the email and click "new." 3- In the new mail put the information on the two relevant meetings. 4- Fill in the boxes "subject" and "for" with the right information 5- Click Send.
HOW DO YOU WRITE AN E-MAIL TO THE LIST? In the project we work one day a week for two hours, at the end of the activity make a report of the two sessions and send in an e-mail to the list. In the email, click "New" and in "to" write the address: firstname.lastname@example.org and click to "send".
¿WHAT IS A FILE EXTENSION? It's a chain of characters attached to a file name usually preceded by a point. Its main function is to differentiate the content of the file so that the operating system provides the necessary procedure to run or interpret, however, the extension is only part of the file name and does not constitute any obligation on its content.
