5 Life as a First Year – Starting New Meeting New People Moving into Halls of Residence Getting Used to Lectures Modules in First Year: Cardiovascular, Respiratory, Haematology, Communications Skills, Histology, Biochemistry, Action Potentials

6 Second Year Full Body Dissection Learning Clinical Skills GP and Hospital Visits

7 Third Year – Halfway There Dissertation Period: 3 months doing research – can be a lab, hospital or in your own house! Start Clinical Years after Christmas!

8 Fourth Year and Beyond More clinical placements – but this time more specialised: Obstetrics and gynaecology, elderly medicine, Psychiatry, Child Health, Dermatology, Ophthalmology, Otorhinolaryngology
