2 TRAIN THE INSTRUCTOR / T2i کورس تربیه معلم PURPOSE: The purpose of the Train the Instructor Course is to provide ANA Instructors with a standardized, MOD approved, and sustainable training plan. This training will reinforce basic instructor skills that will provide confident and qualified instructors. Graduates will be technically and tactically proficient, professional, and set the example at all times. هدف: هدف کورس تربیه معلم عبارت از ارتقای ظرفیت مربیون اردوی ملی افغانستان نظربه پلان منظورشده وزازت دفاع ملی افغانستان ترتیب گردیده است، چون این نوع تعلیمات مهارتهای مربیون را بیشتر ساخته و مربیون خوب را به جامعه تقدیم خواهم نمود. فارغین این کورس از لحاظ تخنیکی وتکتیکی دارای مهارت های مسلکی و نمونه مثال در هرزمان خواهدبود. INTENT: The intent of the Train the Instructor Course is to institute a standardized and MOD approved development system that will provide well trained and professional cadre. Graduates will be qualified to instruct, and will posses the potential to progress to a T3/T4 level. ANA Instructors will be chosen by the Command Team and will have demonstrated superior knowledge, professionalism, and have instructor training experience. This is an ANA taught course with little or no assistance from advisors after the initial class. Advisors will be available at all times and will assist only as needed. مقصد: مقصد کورس تربیه معلم عبارت از ایجاد معیار یک سیستم انکشافی ومنظورشده وزارت دفاع ملی افغانستان بوده تا مربیون وپرسونل مسلکی وبا دانش رابه جامعه تقدیم نماید.فارغین این کورس میتوانند که تدریس نمایند، و درصورتیکه بخواهند به کورس های سطوح بعدی جهت آموزش وارتقای ظرفیت تعلیمی اشتراک نمایند به کورس مهارتهای نظامی مربیون معرفی میشوند. مربیون اردوی ملی افغانستان توسط تیم رهبریت (قوماندانان) انتخاب گردیده بناً باید دانش خودرا درعمل پیاده نموده ، مسلکی و دارای تجربه تدریسی باشند. این کورس بعداز دوره اول تعلیمی به مربیون اردوی ملی افغانستان سپرده میشود و بدون همکاری مشاورین تحت تعلیم وتربیه اردوی ملی افغانستان صورت پزیراست. مشاورین همیشه موجود بوده ودرصورت ضرورت همکاری مینمایند.

5 5 UNCLASSIFIED//REL TO NATO/ISAF ANA Instructor Categorization LevelDescription Satha 1 – Apprentice Initial employment training completed. Assigned to Tashkil position. Pending T2i. Assists with training delivery. Satha 2 – Instructor Officer or NCO who has completed T2i or ‘Grandfathered’ rights based on experience and performance validation. Supervised by MSI and CF personnel. Delivers instruction under supervision of ANA Master Instructor. Satha 3 – Specialist Instructor Officer or NCO who has completed T2i and Branch School specific courses and training or ‘Grandfathered’ rights based on experience and performance validation. Supervised by MSI and CF personnel. Delivers instruction under supervision of ANA Master Instructor. Satha 4 – Master Instructor Officer or NCO with experience as a seasoned instructor. Has completed a MSIC. Monitored by CF Personnel. Instructs, plans, supervises, assesses instructors and instruction. Enforces POI standardization. Satha 5 – Academy Instructor Officer assigned to Academy or Staff College (NMAA, ANSU) Higher Education qualified Academic Instructor. Delivers academic and higher level military instruction DP

10 10 UNCLASSIFIED//REL TO NATO/ISAF ANA Instructor Incentives Non-monetary initiatives in place; –Increase expertise: T2i and MSIC professionalize the instructor corps –Increase status: T2i Tan hat and MSIC Instructor black hat and patch for uniform Looking ahead - continue incentivizing; –Special pay to counter the loss of combat pay ( pending at the MOD level) –Increased personnel tracking capabilities  merit-based promotions –Increase quality of life: assignment stabilization (2 years) –Opportunities for resident literacy and language training Status; –MOD Pushed back on Instructor pay when we last raised the issue –With mature, agreed Satha levels the argument is much stronger UNCLASSIFIED//REL TO NATO/ISAF Action is required on incentives DP

11 11 UNCLASSIFIED//REL TO NATO/ISAF Future Initiatives Integrate Basic Methods of Instruction into all Officer and NCO courses at ‘Steady State’ (85% and 90% Dec 2012). Introduce Specialist Instructor Courses in Branch School. Work towards instituting qualified instructor rotation plan back to the fielded force to be implemented in 2013-2014 Mentoring/Partnering Senior Leadership. –ANATC leadership transition to embrace the Afghan Instructor initiative –RMTC ANA CDR’s and SMAs to conduct joint training through an Advisors Course that will include: –Planning –Assessment of Instruction –Assessing of Instructors
