Verify Information are facts and content in resource correct find other websites or resources to verify info include scholarly sites, data bases, and hard copy use information that verifies info as citations

Web Example To The Point Correct Content Verifiable Facts Grammar

F. Information Found On Web Christopher Columbus 1. Christopher Columbus was born in Sydney, Australia. 2. He is buried in Valladolid, Spain. Live Link Are these stated points really true?

F. Checking These Facts With Google Born in Sydney, Australia? Buried in Valladolid, Spain. Finding where Columbus is buried is much harder than where he died. Watch from live link. Look for video title belowlive link Three sites say Genoa, Italy

F. Different Google Results Who first saw America on the Columbus voyage? October 12, 1492: Juan Rodriguez Bermejo, a sailor on the Pinta, shouts, “Land, Land!” Columbus later claims he first spotted land and thus will collect the lifetime pension promised. Live Link

F. Vague Or Clear Live Link CHRISTOPHER COLUMBUS discovered America in 1492. At least that is what all elementary school children were always taught: "In 1492, Columbus sailed the ocean blue." Of course, Columbus never did "discover" North America, and the regions he did explore were already inhabited Christopher Columbus was a master navigator and admiral whose four transatlantic voyages (1492–93, 1493–96, 1498–1500 and 1502–04) opened the way for European exploration, exploitation and colonization of the Americas. Live Link Top link is more colorful, but is more vague and not as specific and to the point as the second.

F. Grammar Is Important Grammar, spelling, sentence structure, and flow of article are important!
