2. 1.1Why did you use a computer? What other systems / resources could you have used? We use a computer because it is easier and faster Our Handing writing is easier to understand because it has different fonts we could use and it’s properly neater than ours will ever be. You can also Change the size of text so if your natural hand writing is really big or too small then on the computer you can change the size to the right one. The font could also be changed as well so it’s suitable for the right thing such as a smart font for a presentation or a fun font for a poster etc. And at last the colour, you can change the colour to pretty much any colour you want that maybe you can’t even get on pens/crayons. Using a computer looks better and presented. The type of things you could use instead of a computer are; typer and also a flip chart, these are the thing people used to use back in the day when there was hardly any computers/technology.

3. 1.2What skills did you need to learn in order to use PowerPoint? There are many skills you can learn from a computer, therefore you need these skills in order to use a PowerPoint such as Copy and paste from shared area, from the internet; text or images, or save images to your folder/computer. You need to learn how to go on the internet and learn how to use it the correct way. you need to know what you’re looking for and where to find information off the internet but you have to know what not to do on the internet because sometimes the information on the internet isn’t always true. Also it can be a little dangerous at times.

4. 1.2What resources did you need to make the presentation successful? You need a lot of things to make a presentation / presentation successful because you need it to look presentable and nice. you would need images so you can make the presentation more nice and understandable; same with videos, using video would be really helpful for the person who is viewing the presentation because they have something to watch which may make it easier for them also gives them something to look forward to. Your also going to need different fonts colours and background, these are important when it comes presenting a PowerPoint because this is going to make the person think that it is interesting and is going to keep them wanting to view the presentation.

5. 1.4What factors might have affected how well you completed the presentation? (e.g. time / attendance / knowledge of software) There was a lot of things that I did that has affected my presentation. If I didn’t do these bad habits then my presentation would have been really good, to an excellent standard. The things I use to do were come to lesson 10 mins late therefore everyone had an hour to do their work and I only had 50 mins.in that 10 mins that I was late, I missed what the teacher was explaining to the class about the work; things we had to do and new things to learn such as uploading a video/audio. Also because I missed those 10 mins,I came into lesson not knowing what to do so therefore the teacher had to explain to me which took anther10 mins, which left me with 40 mins to do the presentation. Also I went on holiday for 2 weeks and missed out on a lot of work and skills that I needed to know to do the presentation.

6. 1.6Why did you use PowerPoint to make your presentation? What other software was available? Why did you choose not to use them? I used PowerPoint to make my presentation because it has slides and loads of things I could use such as deigns, colours images,fonts and many more. It’s easier and neater. Using power point makes my presentation presentable with all the features it has. There are many more software's that I could have used and one of them is word. I didn’t choose word because it’s harder to use-using PowerPoint will do a better job than word. Using word, it is hard to copy and paste images because you can’t always have it where you want. Same with anything you want to insert.

7. 2.2Which tools within PowerPoint made it appropriate for your presentation? I used loads of tools from the PowerPoint-such as fonts, to change the font of text-make the welcome sign more inviting and interesting instead of it being plain and boring, which will make the audience not very interested to continue reading.. I also used arrows to point at an image that I want the audience to see to understand what I am trying to explain. I also used tools to change colour and size of text. I’ve also added bullet point to my presentation to point things out, I used these tools for the uniform section. I inserted sounds and videos/buttons and images. This is also one of the reason why using power point is easier than using Microsoft word.

8. 1.7Were there any legal constraints or local constraints that changed the way you created your presentation? (e.g. copyright, file sizes) I have got many photos, sounds and videos that I don’t own/ I haven't made. Therefore I am using someone else's work. This is called copy right. Copyright is a legal right created by the law that grants the inventor of an original work exclusive rights to its use and distribution, usually for a limited time. I wanted to use more images in my presentation but I was not allowed to, this was because the images had other people that have not given me permission to use therefore it would be illegal to use. This is called data protector act, which means to upload any images onto the internet you have to have parents’ permission.

9. 2.4What improvements do you think you could do to your presentation? There was a lot of improvements that I could have made to have made my presentation better, if I didn’t have bad habits such as coming to lesson late-or getting distracted or even distracting others. The improvement that I could have made was making it more presentable by adding more images to make it more interesting-that will make the audience want to continue on view the presentation. I could have used more videos and sounds also used more topics to talk about the school and give more information that would be useful for the audience to know, so they are fully aware of the rules of the school and how it works.

10. 3.2What improvements do you think you could have done to improve your work rate? I could have designed my presentation to be more presentable and put more effort in making my presentation more better. I could have added more shortcuts to the presentation to make the audience view the presentation faster for eg if they just wanted to know about the uniform they should be a uniform link, instead of just flickering all the way through the presentation and trying to find the uniform section. I could have used my time wisely. I always got distracted all the time and would always speak to my friends. There was a lot more that I could have improved on my presentation. Such as I could have made the presentation more presentable by making more effort with the background. Also I could have made the slide that welcomes the audience more inviting. There is also things I could have added in my presentation like more information. Maybe more images and sound also videos. I could have also made my own images and maybe more button for my presentation. Therefore If I did all of these changes then there’s a highly chance that my work rate would have went up.
