Growing-up Godly Continuous Dialogue with God

Theme Verse Ephesians 4:11-14 NLT GrowingupGrowingup Godly 11He is the one who gave these gifts to the church: the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, and the pastors and teachers. 12Their responsibility is to equip God's people to do his work and build up the church, the body of Christ, 13until we come to such unity in our faith and knowledge of God's Son that we will be mature and full grown in the Lord, measuring up to the full stature of Christ.

Theme Verse Ephesians 4:11-16 NLT GrowingupGrowingup Godly 14Then we will no longer be like children, forever changing our minds about what we believe because someone has told us something different or because someone has cleverly lied to us and made the lie sound like the truth. 15Instead, we will hold to the truth in love, becoming more and more in every way like Christ, who is the head of his body, the church. 16Under his direction, the whole body is fitted together perfectly. As each part does its own special work, it helps the other parts grow, so that the whole body is healthy and growing and full of love.

My servant Job will pray for you, and I will accept his prayer and not deal with you according to your folly. You have not spoken of me what is right, as my servant Job has."

Continuous Dialogue with God Builds Your Relationship with God Jeremiah 31:9 NIV GrowingupGrowingup Godly 9They will come with weeping; they will pray as I bring them back. I will lead them beside streams of water on a level path where they will not stumble, because I am Israel's father, and Ephraim is my firstborn son.

Continuous Dialogue with God Builds Your Relationship with God Matthew 6:5-8 NIV GrowingupGrowingup Godly 5"And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by men. I tell you the truth, they have received their reward in full. 6But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. 7And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words. 8Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.

Continuous Dialogue with God Builds Your Relationship with God GrowingupGrowingup Godly You talk with the significant people in your life. (You know their voice.) If you don’t communicate, you don’t have much of a relationship. It takes intentionality to grow a relationship.
