Martin Lancaster, President Fifty-eight Institutions Educating and Training a World-Class Workforce Evaluation of New England ABE-to-College Transition Project: Questions & Answers n Who are the program participants? –32 year-old white, English-speaking female –68% employed –79% reported incomes of less than $25,000 –38% received some type of public assistance n Do program participants enter college at higher rates than comparison students? –69% of program participants were expected to enter college
