How do we compare decimals? Order from least to greatest: 0.6, 0.57, 0.62, 0.518 Line up the decimal points vertically and compare from left to right. 0.6 0.57 0.62 0.518 0.518, 0.57, 0.6, 0.62

How do we compare fractions? 1) Use the LCM of the denominators to find a common denominator. 2) Make all fractions have the common denominator by multiplying the numerator AND denominator by the same number. 3) Compare numerators.

How do we compare fractions to decimals? Compare Convert the fraction into a decimal by using long division. 0.6 0.57 > 0.57

Direct Station We will do problems that require us to order both positive and negative numbers.

Collaborative Station For each round, you and your partner will have a different fraction. Compare your fractions and find the LCM. Each partner converts their fraction into its equivalent form with the new denominator. Both partners then write down the comparison (>, <, or =) on their paper.
