The Senate LHHS Committee has appropriated $60 mil lion Who: –Sen. Tom Harkin (D-IA) sponsored PN Act, incorporated language into proposed ESEA reauthorization. –Reps. Payne (D-NJ), Honda (D-CA) and Scott (D-VA) sponsored PN Act –Over 500 organizations, including Harlem Children’s Zone, PolicyLink, The Center for the Study of Social Policy, CCS, Nurse Family Partnership, NASBHC, UNCA & UWW have joined in support of this legislation
