Outline 2 Spec in business Flow Surveon Special Features Overview How to use Surveon Spec in Tools?

Spec in business flow. 3 Find out the potential competitors’ product spec. Get the unique features from Surveon Cameras Modify the features to the RFP with Surveon spec.

KSF for the Spec In Features 4 Know pros and cons from the main competitors’ spec It won’t be the common or standard features - ex: The camera shall support triple codec. The features need to be unique and with benefit - ex: The camera shall support the range of luminance control to ensure the image quality and depth of view Put as more special features as possible -Camera shall support ROI encoding to reduce the bandwidth + -Camera shall support HDR (100DB+) for complexity lighting

High Suppression Backlight Compensation (HSBLC) 11 The Camera shall support 2 + individual HSBLC at any size and level adjustment available. 1. Basic BLC Image in one BLC 2. HSBLC Up to 4 individual areas with BLC at selective levels.

Noise Reduction 12 The Camera shall support 3 Denoise functionalities, standard 2DNR, advanced 3DNR and the 2D+3D Motion Adaptive modes to reduce the shadow dropping often seen at 3DNR. 3DNR Mode Denoise produces shadow droppings. 2D+3D Motion Adaptive Mode No visible shadow droppings.

13 Surveon cameras can auto detect the lux level to dynamically adjust the Denoise Value to fit the day / night changes. Smart Denoise Technology Low light Normal light Other Camera (Fix the Denoise Value) High DN Value – OK Low DN Value – Noise Video High DN – Poor sharpness Low DN – Good Sharpness Surveon Camera (Smart Denoise Value) Auto DN – OK (Make the Higher DN Value) Auto DN - OK (Make the lower DN) 晚上的圖且有點 noise 晚上的圖且沒有 NOISE 白天的圖, 比較銳利

Lens Correction 14 The camera shall support inward and outward of lens correction with at least 2 correction levels. Common inward correctionAdvanced outward correction

P-Iris 15 The camera shall support the P-Iris control to get a better focus and image depth control and support both the manual and auto modes. P-IRIS Control Better ISIS control From AXIS DC - IRIS P - IRIS

Auto Focus 16 The camera shall support one push auto focus to ease the setup and overcome the defocus risk. The auto focus shall also work automatically with zoom in and out. Reduce efforts on installation and maintenance. Always clear Image

Advanced Shutter Control 17 The camera shall support the maximum shutter control to 1 at 2 sec and 1 at 4 sec to ensure the viewable video under ultra low light conditions. Advanced Shuttle ControlStandard Shuttle Control

Smart IR Funciton 18

Region of Interest (ROI) base Encoding 19 The camera shall support Region of Interest Encoding to reduce the bit rate for best bandwidth control. The ROI can support at least 8 different regions with individual quality levels. Non ROI CBR 6 Mbps @ 2MP 30FPSROI Mode CBR 4 Mbps @ 2MP 30FPS

H.264 High Profile Encoding 20 The camera shall support the H.264 High Profile Encoding to reduce the bandwidth and comply with HDTV standard. H.264 Baseline @ 5Mbps CBRH.264 High Profile @ 5Mbps CBR

Seamless Recording 21 The camera shall store the data to the microSD/SDHC card when the network lost connection. The recorded images will be transferred to the NVR automatically once the network is reconnected. This recovery bandwidth can be configured to balance the streams of live view and recovery.

Dynamic Quality Change by Motion 22 To reduce the bandwidth for network and storage, the camera shall support configurable lower frame rate and bit rate when no motion detected. When there is a motion trigger, the camera can switch to the standard frame rate, bit rate within 1 sec. No Motion: 10 FPSMotions: 25 FPS

Luminance Control 23 The camera shall have the ability to set up a target reference luminance to dynamically control the ISP functions for shuttle, AGC and Iris. Defocus at NightLuminance Control at Night

Dynamic Profile Change 24 The Camera shall support at least two image profiles in different image parameters on the subjects of IRIS, shuttle speed, AGC, brightness, contrast, and DNR levels. The two profiles can be automatically changed by day and night settings to ensure a fixed image quality even under different lighting environments. IRIS AGC = 30 Shutter = 1/60 Brightness = 50 HDR ON IRIS AGC = 50 Shutter = 1/30 Brightness = 60 HDR OFF

iSCSI Direct Recording 25 The Camera shall support videos directly recorded to the block level iSCSI storage to utilize network bandwidth and prevent overloading for the file system.

Scalable Video encoding 26 The camera shall allow decoding in different frame rates from a single connection to save bandwidth and reduce the PC loading. Without SVC: High Load SVC: High Load
