Requires the sponsored spouse or partner to cohabit in a conjugal relationship with the sponsor for a period of 2 years after the day on which s/he becomes a permanent resident Does not apply if the couple has been married or in a conjugal relationship for more than 2 years, has cohabited in a common-law relationship for more than 2 years, or has children in common.
