8 ACCREDITATIONS All accreditation requests must be made via the online system “eAccreditation” at http://eaccreditation.un.int Guidelines on how to submit requests online and a set of “Frequently Asked Questions” can be found on the Protocol website www.un.int/protocol Missions/offices will now have the option to submit photographs of delegations along with their online accreditation requests. Deadlines for submission of accreditation is Tuesday, 15 September 2015. All requests require at least 48 hours for processing. VIP passes are issued by Protocol and may be collected at the Protocol Office. VIP passes (without photo) will be issued to Heads of State/Government, Vice- Presidents, Crown Princes/Princesses and spouses. VIP passes (with photo) will be issued to Deputy Prime Ministers, Cabinet Ministers and spouses. Note: Official Credentials to the Post 2015 Summit and the 70th Session of the General Assembly may be combined in one document. Official Credentials should be received by the Office of Legal Affairs one week before 15 September 2015.

9 Bearing in mind space constraints as well as security considerations, passes will be made available as follows: 25-27 SeptemberPope's address and Post-2015 Summit 6 access cards for each member state 2 access cards for each IGO 1 access card for each specialized agency Interactive Dialogues of Post-2015 Summit 2 access cards per dialogue for each member state (2 x 6 dialogues = 12 cards) 2 access cards for the specific dialogue for which an IGOs/specialized agency has inscribed 28 September – 6 OctoberGeneral Debate 6 access cards for each member state 2 access cards for each IGO 1 access card for each specialized agency SECONDARY ACCESS PASSES

10 25 September – 6 October 2015Access to the 2nd Floor of the GA and Conference Buildings 4 access cards for each member state 2 access cards for each IGO 2 access cards for each specialized agency The secondary access cards will be distributed by the Protocol and Liaison Service on Tuesday, 22 September 2015 between 10:00 am and 5:00 pm in Conference Room C. Thereafter, access cards may be collected in the Protocol Office at Room S-0201 during office hours. For the General Debate, seats in the VIP Section and 4th floor balcony during the Speech of the Head of the various delegations will be available upon written request to Protocol one week in advance. Seating will be available for First Ladies, Spouses of the Heads of State/Government, Vice-Presidents, Crown Princes and Princesses provided that the Chief of protocol is notified in advance of their attendance at the session. 12 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Bilateral Booths will be in 4 locations: 2 on the 4 th balcony 4 on the 3 rd floor balcony The balance of up to 34 or more booths will be divided between the General Assembly Lobby (where the exhibits are located near the Visitors Entrance) and at the NLB 2 nd floor (former lounge area) Reservations should be made through e-Meets by accessing https://icms.un.org https://icms.un.org

13 FLAG VERIFICATION The United Nations is in receipt of new Member State flags which will be displayed inside and outside the UN Secretariat premises prior to the General Assembly Debate. In order to ensure that the flags are in accordance with each Member States Protocol, your representative is requested to proceed to Alphabet Room B at the end of this briefing at which time we will be able to verify the accuracy of your Member State flag.
