Two trees in the Garden of Eden Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil Gen. 2:15-18 Tree of Life Gen. 3:22-24 There were restrictions regarding the tree of knowledge of good and evil. We must respect the authority of God and learn the limits He has set forth in His word.
Like A Tree… Trees that provided the wood Noah used to build the ark. Gen. 6:14 - Gopher wood Noahs obedience in spite of others around him. Respect for the silence of the scriptures.
Like A Tree… The ark of the covenant made from acacia wood. Ex. 37:1-9 We must respect what God has given in His covenant to us.
Like A Tree… Some trees provided wood for objects in Jesus life: Luke 5:3, 8:22-25 Boats used in teaching multitudes & for travel

Like A Tree… CONCLUSION: The tree of Psalm 1 was: Planted Productive Fulfilled a purpose Are we like a tree today?
Like A Tree… Blessed is the man: Walks not in the counsel of the ungodly Nor stands in the path of sinners Nor sits in the seat of the sinners But his delight is in the law of the Lord He shall be like a tree: Planted by the rivers of life That brings forth its fruit in its season Whose leaf also shall not wither And whatever he does shall prosper
