4 ISTP - Aims of the project General aim: Contribute to improvement the quality of communications in the labour market Particular aims:  Proposing a system of occupations / Standard Positions (connected with the education system)  Completing the Catalogue of Standard Positions (CSP) and setting up a mechanism for its modernization  Creating tools for counselling use of CSP (including Internet self-service)  Arranging communications with other information systems

5 ISTP – basis of the system Catalogue of Standard Positions represents the division of labour describes aspects of job output (working and technical conditions) informs about common requirements for the practitioner - qualification - personality qualities - health Analysis of Individual Potential the outcome is a complex job-seeker's profile the job-seeker's profile has a structure which is comparable to the standard position requirements Competence Analysis Comparing applicant's profile with profiles of standard positions (level of suitability) counselling –> professional orientation, retraining mediation -> the most suitable applicants the most suitable places

6 Description of Standard Position - Characterization Heating Engineer A Heating Engineer is a qualified employee individually assembling and repairing central heating systems (hot water, hydrothermal and steam). Characterization Preparation of workplace. Reading and using technical documentation. Mounting and assembling element-like heating bodies, converters and registers. Assembly, disassembly and repairs of indoor and outdoor grids. Assembly, repairs and reconstruction of low- and medium-pressure heating systems. Registration of technical data on course and results of work. Working Activities Assembler of glass fittings, Operational gas pipeline assembler, Operational water duct assembler Related job positions: This job position is classified in the occupation: Plumber and Heating Engineer Qualification level: High School Technical Education

16 National System of Qualifications (NSQ) NATIONAL SYSTEM OF QUALIFICATIONS tool for promoting lifelong learning NSQ development will contribute to:  creation of systems for evaluation and recognition of learning results (knowledge, skills and competences)  integration of initial and further vocational education  creation of environment supporting international mobility and mutual recognition of qualifications  promotion mutual links and communication between partners in the educational sphere and labour market
